I really had no idea these things existed and never actually used a manual one either, but these seem to have gained some popularity. I don’t tend to follow fads or trends, so I wasn’t that desperate to get one. It’s an electric pressure cooker. Apparently some stores are having problems keeping them on the shelves. When I saw it on Walmart’s website last week in stock, I took a second to consider it, then added it to my cart. It arrived on Friday and I took the time to read the manual and examine the parts. So far the only big success i’ve had is he perfect hard boiled eggs that were so easy to peel. I’m sure I will find some other sure fire recipes that my family will love. I’m just going to have to stretch my culinary muscles.
