Are you one of those people who google their symptoms and freaks out at the results. Cause you know, that little acne on the tip of your nose could actually in fact be cancer? I feel like it's good to be well-informed about your ailments and be proactive abou it but trusting on internet sources alone without the proper guidance of a medical professional or specialist, I think is just silly. How much do you trust the internet for sources of medical information?

I am the opposite. I would go to the doctor to consult something and when told that I have this and that, and be given a prescription for it, I would research on it more. Also on the given prescription.

That's very proactive and it never hurts to be well-informed. Internet is a very very handy tool for acquiring information.

Yes I’m terrible for doing it. I try not to because it always points to the worst diagnosis possible and then I panic myself.

It does freak you out. Especially when the symptoms in the list match with everything.

I would rather go to a Doctor, instead of doing my own analysis through internet.

I think the best bet is often to just go see the doctor. Googling and Webmding symptoms makes me paranoid personally.

So true, it really does. And sometimes, it leads people to self medicate.
