Your body uses energy to digest the food so you feel sleepy after eating a meal.

May be you have more of fatty or oily foods. Sometimes those foods do cause lethargy.
Or try having some warm water 10 minutes after meal

I would sleep so that the digestion would go as planned.
The brain focuses on digestion, which is I don't mind.

@allen0187 is right, it is perfectly normal to feel a bit sleepy after a meal, due to the digestive process. If you feel too sleepy, it means that you consume too much sugary food.

I don't feel sleepy after eating. I really don't know the reason for you. You haven't digested the food so it's not yet giving you energy.
