why don't penguins feet freeze?

Penguins do not freeze because they travel in huge numbers and they all huddle together to keep warm. I watched a programme on tv about it, although I would not like to be on the outside of the huddle. LOL

that explains why they do not freeze but there feet are in constant contact with the ice, so why do the feet not freeze?

Because they have an extra layer of fat which can protect them from the very extreme of cold temparature.
