Feeling bad about myself

I have been watching what I eat for a few weeks now, but I really messed up tonight. I had two frito burritos and a $1 stacker from taco bell.
It was so good!! But now I feel so bad about myself. I shouldn't have ate so much. I feel like I might have ruined everything I have done so far.
Tomorrow I am not eating much and going to exercise as much as I can, maybe it will undo the damage?

It happens, and it is okay. You will pick back up. Any time I have a slip up I just do extra work. An extra set of jumping jacks or burpees. Something to burn the extra calories off.

@MikesAngel317 I have been doing that combo and after 3 weeks I'm finally seeing its paying off. I wish the same for you!
Don't work out too hard. I don't count calories because I feel it makes people go insane. But I just consider in general, i had roughly x amount of extra calories plus it was unhealthy. For every minute of jumping jacks you burn about 10% of your weight.
So just some real quick math if I typically do 3 mins I'll just do an extra min and that should cover the extra amount.
Or I just ate half a pizza, oops, I'll just do an extra 2 mins of jumping jacks. You know? Like don't obsess over it just kinda add a lil extra to your routine :)
I hope that helps!

@taciaelisepeace yes, that helps thank you. I have been obsessing the past few weeks because I am watching what I eat yet still gaining. I don't understand it. I thought I would see some results by now, definitely didn't expect to be gaining weight.

That's what I plan on doing today, extra exercise and light eating, plus a lot of water.

Just make up for it. They say the more you stress about food, the more difficult it is for you.

Plus stress can cause weight gain, so I don't need that!

Yes, I definitely don't want my body going into starvation mode. That's no good.

Number one you haven't ruined anything! Everyone occasionally eats a bit unhealthy! You made a mistake sure but you can keep making future healthy choices!
Tomorrow is a new start and a new day! Eat healthy, work out and relax!
Eating less tomorrow won't make up for eating more today! Just eat healthy. Most that over eat tend to do so after starving/ being hungry!
You got this!

@MikesAngel317 Result is not a one day process it could take days or months before you can see some results. Don't feel bad about it because it could affect your motivation in reducing your weight just be happy all the time.

@rheicel I know it's not an overnight thing, but it's been about a month now. I was just expecting to see a little results from my hard work. It's really hard to stay motivated without results.

It would be different if I was seeing some results, one cheat day wouldn't be so bad.

I messed up yesterday. It was an emotional thing. It usually is. I have to stop allowing emotional issues to get the best of me.

Just jump on the wagon again. It's OK. You didn't gorge yourself.

@MikesAngel317 One day a week, have a free food day. Many studies show this helps.

Yes, be positive and look at the things from the positive side. You will see lots of qualities within you that you yourself haven't noticed before.
