This is the one of the reason why many hate PayPal as they charge hefty fee on smaller and larger payments as well. God Bless Mylot that we don't need to pay any fee even at 5 Dollars payment But on other websites we need to pay a very hefty fee, Few weeks back i withdrawn around 54 or so dollars and got only 49 or so dollars which is too much on the name of fee Are you aware why PayPal charge so much fee even at larger payments , Its understood at smaller amounts but why at larger payments. Thanks

Paypal is a business, they have to make money to survive. I don`t mind because I do not have to put my bank info in for those sites.

if you operated paypal, would you offer the service for free? wouldn't that be like setting up a business to do charity?

Are you kidding me ? They charge a hefty fee for smaller payments, they should try to take lesser fee for bigger payments so that most try to get bigger payments

In the past they used to deduct fees but not now. I am not on any other site so don't know much about PayPal.

@thesupersingh I am so happy that Mylot doesn't take a fee away from us either. I can't remember what Paypal fees are. In fact I don't think I have had much taken away from me in a long time. But Payza takes fees. Which is annoying.

@VivaLaDani13 @thesupersingh Banks in India do not know what PayPal is. Employers are very rude. I told one off. Was a Manager or something. Dad never lets me live it down. Hey he was being rude. He did not deserve kind response just because he held a high post in the bank. Amyways, only selecg few banks (max 5 give or take) allows payments to go out. Meaning fully functioning PayPal account. Axis Bank is one of them. If you want supersingh you can change banks.

It's alright if they just taking less than 2% of the amount we're withdrawing. They are a business site so they also have to earn but it shouldn't be so high that a very small amount will be left to us.

I know what you mean. One of my jobs is writing for an Australian-based website that pays basically in pennies. You don't make payout until you reach $50.00. They pay by Paypal. Once you struggle to get to the $50.00 payout, PayPal converts the currrency and you end up with $30.00. In other words, not worth my hard work. My other writing job is in the United States-based and much much better. I do like PayPal though as eBay accepts it. Amazon doesn't and I think Amazon is missing out.

In China, we prefer to use Alipay. The cost is relatively low.
