Still feeling a bit down tonight about not seeing any results from watching what I eat for the past few weeks. I am trying to stay positive and not stress about it but the fact that I have gained a couple pounds since starting my new diet is just driving me nuts. It makes no sense! I could deal with not losing and just remaining the same weight, but gaining it!? I just don't see how it's possible. Unless.... No... I don't think I am pregnant. I am thinking about this way too much. Ugh.

You stress too much about your weight, try to relax and examine the list of what you are eating. Calories from fats goes to fat, may be you are eating wrong. There is a lot of difference eating 1200 calories per day from lean meats and vegetables, or from fried or starchy food.

I definitely don't eat fried foods anymore like I used to, I bake things now. Right now we don't get a lot of choice with our food, we eat what we can get. Rice, we have tons of it. So I like to make chicken and veggie stir fry with it. I really don't think I have been eating bad, especially compared to before I started watching what I eat. I was eating whatever I wanted and however much, blindly eating. Now that I am not doing that, I feel like I have made a huge change, but still seeing no results.

@MikesAngel317 Rice is what prevents you to lose weight.

@LadyDuck well, when you don't have much food you have to eat what you have.

Don't be down on yourself. Everyone gets results differently. When I watched a bunch of videos, some lost 30lbs in a month, others lost in 3 months. What are you eating? How are you exercising? (I might have asked this on another post, can't remember haha)

@MikesAngel317 Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Thats a huge change. I made the same changes. I do exercise everyday though, no rest days for me. I also can't afford a lot of healthy foods so I just eat small portions every two hours or so and drink 8 cups of water a day. I think your body is still taking time to adjust. Maybe introduce a few more exercises. I do the basics. Pushups, sit ups, crunches, squats, planks, jumping jacks, and burpees x5. Try that and see if you see results in a couple weeks :)

Eating between 1000 and 1200 a day, as healthy as I can with being tight on cash... walking on treadrill about 20 min a day. Keep in mind, I went from eat anything I wanted, not watching portions, and no excercise. I feel like I have made a huge change, and thought I would see some results. I just didn't expect to gain weight.

@taciaelisepeace okay, good to hear I am not the only one who can't afford to buy all healthy food. I will try adding more excercise and see if that helps. Thank you.

You dont just lose weight by not eating too much, You have to do some cardio also , Take a walk around town once or twice a day and keep going, You'll see a difference, Or if your in a warm climate you could ride your bike too
