So today I went to City Hall of a city that neighbors my own in order to take an assessment test. I've been looking for work for over 3 months. I've had tons of interviews and even believed I landed a job when one of the CEO's stated I would receive a call that night or following morning. By the next afternoon, still waiting for the call, I tried calling them myself. Without an answer I left a message. I called about 15 or 20 times within a week, till I gave up on it. Feeling defeated I gave myself a week and a half without posting my resume or filling out any applications. I thought it would be awesome to get a government job so I started applying for some. Well today I took the first step to becoming a DWP admin clerk. I'll find out within two weeks if I will advance to the next stage. I pray this is the break I've been looking for.
