Imagine your group are eating slices of pizza, you love it that everyone are rushing to have more bite. Until only one piece left and nobody want to pick it.
Have you experiencd it? I don't know if only Filipinohave this kind of unpopular habit... that when only one slice or piece is left, no one want to have it. Well, we all want it to have but everyone just too shy to pick that one.
Yes many times I experienced this with my friends and peers. It could be one peanut, biscuit, drinks, cakes etc etc.
It don't always happen but it does happen.

Haha one of filipino style. I think it has something to do with the trait of being hospitable. No one wants to pick the last piece because they're thinking that there's someone in the group that might like it still or may want it too.
In my group of friends , we are not doing that, we are very vocal who will pick the last one hehe.

@ilocosboy You know filipino has a lot of innate good traits, but sometimes since world of today is keep on evolving, there are traits that couldn't fit anymore to modern world of today. So i think we should ( filipino) keep on evolving also, but ofcourse I still love filipino cultures.

I agree so many traditions have been left because of modern living. No more 'hilot' to help pregnant women giving birth in the house, no more procession departed relatives because it cause traffic and no more bahay kubo

Yeah that's true it happens here too. Why we are shy to pick the last slice or piece? I wait for longer time and if no one really want's it I pick the last piece

i think that is one trait of an Ilocano to spare a last piece for somebody, and when nobody wants it anymore, we get it after asking others if they don't want it anymore.
