I was surfing the net the other day and found an interesting article. You know I'm at the Bit site and there are a lot of Pakistanis there and Muslims so there is a smattering of Arab and Muslim posts here and there. One particular post had a video about the Koran. And since I didn't know much about this Muslim Holy Book, I went ahead and watched it. I found it interesting enough to make me want to read the book just to know what is inside it and what it says. I've read the Bible plenty of times so I think it's time to read the Koran as well so I will know what their belief are. I just have to look for a place to buy it and buy one, or maybe I can borrow one from someone. Aside from the Bible I've also read some stuff from the Mormons. Not sure what they call it but in the province they give out literature for free because of course they are trying to convert you over to their religion. They have a fascinating religious literature too. I think it's about time I find out what's in this Islamic book. What about you? Are you interested to know what's in the Koran?

Oh I see. What other religions have you learned about already? I only know Catholicism and yet I am still no expert at it.

No, I haven't read it. I'm not really interested in reading it. Not that I have anything against it. It's more that religion isn't really for me.

Oh is it very thick? I have no clue. As a teen I read the new and old testament out of boredom. Maybe I can read the Koran too when I am bored. If ever I get bored.

I've previously read a guide to it, and a book/guide that compared sections of the Bible to it. I have no interest in reading the entire book in English - let alone Arabic....just like I have no interest in reading the Bible.

Ah I see. I am interested to read the English version of the Koran because I have no interest in learning Arabic. At least you already know what's in the Koran based on the guide you mentioned.
