A nice dinner from leftovers.

When Claudia left, I checked what could I eat for dinner. I wasn´t much hungry, but I wished to eat something nice.
There was a big piece of focaccia (pizza dough with caramelized onions over it). I added dry oregano leaves and cheese.
While the pizza warmed, the cheese melted. It was delicious.
Now I will mylot for sometime. I´m afraid I will not be able to sleep early tonight. It is much too hot and there is a party next door. I will not spend my time asking them to lower the music. I was young once.

Pizza sounds really good.
You have rights too don't you? Parties are all fine and dandy but it would not hurt to remind them that you live close by and have the right to at least a lower decibel on the music. I personally find those kinds of people inconsiderate, they are not the only ones in the world.

I know. Sometimes, when I really want to sleep, I call my neighbors. They are very nice, but the son is too young.

Youth is no excuse @marguicha teaching them manners is always the best policy and being loud and rambunctious to the point that someone other than their family has to suffer should not be allowed.

Yes, we were young once and loved to dance and played the music loud. Now, I have come to love and appreciate quietness especially after 10 PM.

“I was young once.” What a sweet way to look at it. I tend to ignore loud music from neighbors because they usually only do it twice a year (a birthday party and the 4th of July). Why be a killjoy.
I hope they’re as considerate as you are and let you (and all the other neighbors) get to bed at a reasonable hour.
