I didn't mean to stick my beak in the wrong place

I work in two places. I do a part-time stint in a General Practice clinic where patients come and go, in and out.
I was going through a list of results that day. Opened a patient's file whose diagnosis was written on the results as well. Normally, the heading would show the diagnosis or what the visit was about: Alcohol abuse, Medication abuse, Grief counselling, and heaps of other ailments that this certain patient had.
Suddenly, it hit me. This person was my lady boss at my other work!
I felt truly sorry for her as I would for every patient but this was different, cause this was my boss, someone I highly revered and respected - not that it made me respect her any less. It shows how much we really don't know about the next person.
Also, I felt horribly guilty for snooping even if I know I didn't purposely do it. I wish I hadn't worked that day.

All true. And as I've said, I did not lose my respect at all. But it does worry me. She is an amazing supervisor. I will work with her even if she rocked up at work drunk. (Well, no but I'd still like her).

@Theresaaiza I hope she's dealing with her issues well.

It is if she knew what I knew. I never said anything to anyone.
