I went to Kroger to buy some green tea. Nothing but regular I thought, would be enough for me but then I noticed that there is a fruit flavored green tea that is really quite good I think. For me green tea is a good source of anti-oxidants, that are good for us to lessen our chances at getting certain types of cancer so it's a no brainer to me to continue drinking green tea, but with the added punch of mango&peaches makes it really a nice change of pace, don't you think? This just added. Look for organic, non-GMO teas and coffees. Because, it has been brought to my recent attention that lots of the major brands of tea and coffee contain stuff that just ain't good for ya. So try to buy organic and READ ALL LABELS to be sure you are getting the best health resource for your money and by that, you and I both will be lots better off for it. Here is a good article for you to look at to make the best choices when it comes to pest-free tea. And the ones to avoid

You have to be careful with inorganic tea's because it is just like just drinking a cup of pesticides, defeating the purpose of drinking green tea. For teas some great green variety made from yogi and traditional medicinals. The green tea peppermint one is so good! Sometimes you can get really nice organic teas in bulk from the health food store, cheaper in bulk. Usually use a metal tea ball.

Just a thought, but isn't it possible to use those metal tea balls for certain grounds of coffee? I know that the grounded coffee beans would have to be such that they would not fall through the holes. A friend of mine uses Folgers coffee singles and it is mainly for the convenience, but I often thought of trying using the metal tea balls for coffee. Just a thought.

@lookatdesktop just read the following article about teas and pesticides. It was a definite wake up call and I expect all of you will like to know this and read more to be happily informed about the real truth about just how bad certain forms of non-organic and commercially produced teas are made available to the unenlightened consumer.
The research showed that many “organic” tea brands are actually full of harmful chemicals, and the “natural flavors” they contain are nothing more than carcinogens and highly dangerous pesticides.

@lookatdesktop I am not sure, but you can always get a ceramic pour-over. They are great for coffee.

@amadeo , and I wonder if organically grown varieties offer a better quality that would include not likely to have any form of pesticides in the mix. I hate the idea of anything that contains remotely any form of pesticides. The FDA really needs to focus on making this information known to all consumers for their own health and well being. Have you ever thought about the difference between organic and non-organic types of teas and for that matter coffee?

Well, before I began drinking green tea and black tea also, I decided to use cream and sugar to reduce the acidity and make the drink a bit more to my liking. I have learned to like it both ways.

I also add 3 teaspoons of sugar, and 3 to 4 teaspoons of condensed milk. The combination is other worldly.
