Kind of a special day today, my mom's 80th bday. Sis and I wanted to take her out to lunch today just the "girls" something we haven't done in a very long time, but it is going to have to wait..the roads still aren't that great in their immediate area..and I was going to go with my friend who couldn't get a pet sitter so..I guess it will be a Spring thing. I will call her later though and sent a card. Fortunately, she is doing well other than some ortho problems and a possible cataract. Anything special about Jan 21 for you?

Happy birthday to your mom! Please do call and send her a card because she’ll definitely appreciate it.
Jan 21 doesn’t have any special meaning for me, but my dad’s birthday is on Jan 30. Good thing that he’s currently visiting me (my mom and my little brother are with him) so we can celebrate his birthday.
