I love listening to songs. But nowadays why does almost all the songs contains bad words? It this a new trend in europe? In almost all songs they would use the F words and many other bad words.
It is neccessary to swear to make a song sound good? Whyyyyyy swearing I don't get it at all.

i don't listen to rap music. problem solved. Sure rock music can have some curses, but not to the same extent and can't say I've heard any rock songs that spews out blatant hatred for women that rap music does. People who are filled with anger and hate do tend to curse excessively.

Me too. I mean sometimes it's okay but not like create a song and using only swearing in there. As if they want to swear but are not allow to so they make song and they are allow since the music is good....SERIOUSLY

I agree with you. Songs today have way too many bad words in them and it ruins them.

That's why I say the lyrics are important for me. I would only listen to a song with swear words only once...that's not for me. Personally I think people use swear words, curse words because their vocabulary is not developed. So, for them, one word expressed a lot of deep emotions (for them). Poor guys...underprivileged and all that. LOL. Or illiteracy. ![](/Content/images/emotes/rasp.gif)

In America nothing sells like controversy. A few years ago there was a song with the "F word" in the title that was nominated for a Grammy. The song wasn't very good at all (never mind the profanity), but I'm sure they nominated it to help boost the TV show ratings.
I don't listen to mainstream music or rap (where most of the profanity seems to be concentrated).
