crock pot----what a great invention

i remember back when i was a kid the crock pot was a big pan sitting on the stove and my mom had to keep an eye on it or it would boil over... now days just put everything in it turn it on and go do what ever you want and at supper time just dish out the food-----------------really a great invention

We never used our crock pot. And certainly wouldn't let things cook when we're not home like many do.

@hostessman I have heard that is popular in the United States, almost no one owns a crockpot here in Europe.
