average responses number to your questions?

I've saw 5 to 10 average responses, but some of the questions have hudge number of response

not really true, 15 to 20 can be average responses

I sure wish I knew the secret for that. Some of the dumbest topics get the most responses. Mylot says don't post the same topic over and over, and don't post topics that only require one word answers, or any word games. I see them all the time, with HUGE numbers of responses. I wish they had more control.
