Been awhile, so I figured why not post a new discussion. Something about myself that I doubt it is known here in the site... Not sure how or why I started collecting ref magnets but any chance I get I do purchase a ref magnet as a souvenir. When I visit a new place, whether out of town or out of country, the first souvenir I look for is a ref magnet. When family and friends go on out of town or out of country trips, I always ask for ref magnets as a souvenir as well. They cna do away with the shirts! This is a photo I took last year. I've added a couple of new ref magnets but I was too lazy to take a new one. I've collected ref magnets from different countries such as Taiwan, Japan, and China. I've also collected ref magnets form popular theme parks here and around other parts of the world. I don't think, I'll ever stop so if you ever want to send me a surprise, aside for a postcard and stamp, you can send me a ref magnet. (hint! hint!) About the post tittle, a person who collects ref magnets is called a memomagnetist.

I used to collect those too. Back when my daughter was still in school I used a lot of them to put her pictures and school work up so she knew I was proud of her.

Those are really nice looking magnets that you have. They do not take up much room either.

You have some nice magnets there. I tend to do this too as magnets aren't too expensive, aren't heavy and don't take up a lot of room.

You have a very decorative ref. Didn't know that this kind of hobby collection actually had a name. When I read the title, I was thinking, "must be a new memorization technique".

You have a beautiful collection. I too had that fad and did collect them whenever I went on holidays but I hardly find any of them on my fridge. Guests just come and help themselves (lol)

Hello @allen0187 That is some fancy collection that you have from the other countries you have went to. I got some magnets over here that was given by either by my relatives or my brother or sister in law who have traveled other countries.

@allen0187 not sure, I thinned out the fridge surface leaving only about six and the others are resting in a drawer until I decide to bring them out again.

wow, so many ref magnets. i remember, i posted a discussion about many ref magnets. indeed, ref magnets are good tokens from places we visit.
When I had a vacation last year in a nearby city in another province, I stayed in a house of a friend of my friend. That was the time that I wanted to unwind,...
