The sound of the rain
I know I often moan about how wet it can here in Wetmouth, oh, I mean Plymouth. I’m sure they should change the name from Plymouth to Wetmouth it is more suited.
I went to get a drink and heard the sound of rain on the window, no surprise there. I sat and looked out of the window and in the street light watched the rain falling for maybe 20 minutes or so. I sat drinking my drink watching the rain it felt so lovely and relaxing in some way.
Do you ever watch the raining falling?

@thislittlepennyearns I think I've seen that but I'll check it out seeing I have time away from work. I watched Layer Cake last night, not seen that in years.

But you live in LA and I'm sure you need rain. I remember when I live in California it was wall to wall sunshine with next to no rain. Oh, I wish it was like that here instead of days of rain.

I do. When I have the time to. Back when I was a student I was kind of poetic and when it rained, I would sit right next to the window and watch the rain fall and would listen to its soothing sound. Then I'd start writing something.

@kevin1877uk Rain was so important when we had the farm and I remember everyone being so pleased when we had good rains. We'd listen to it drumming on the roof and everyone would be happy about it. That feeling still persists when I hear rain on an iron roof.

Yesterday (Monday) the reapers turkeys rose. It was a foggy damp day. Last night I sat listening to the rain. Does that count?

I totally agree with you it sure is relaxing, sorry to hear you don't get rain in winter.
