Today, January 23rd is National Handwriting Day.
When was the last time you hand wrote something other than a grocery list or a short note?
I've always loved handwriting and I wish people still wrote more by hand instead of only using technology. I wonder how long it will be before children don't even use handwriting anymore.
It's even worse for cursive handwriting...many people can't write in cursive letters!

I have become like an old fossil that my hands cannot even form decent letters any more. Is your national handwriting day a holiday? Never heard of it.

I signed my mother's birthday card yesterday, Her birthday is next Monday. Yeah I hate that schools don't teach cursive anymore.

I remember learning cursive in school. My mother was a teacher and hand writing was a big deal in our house. I rarely write a letter, the computer has changed our way of life. I text my daughter at least once a week just to keep up with her.
