Good morning everyone. It's been a rough couple days but God is getting us through.
The doctors think Julian has epilepsy but we won't know for sure until we get results back from the eeg. They think his fall was a coincidence in all of this.
I will update when I know more. For now we will be praying and trying to keep him happy. He's miserable at this point. =(

So does he have epilepsy due to one side of his brain being larger than the other? Or does he not have epilepsy? Sorry, I don't know much about epilepsy other than that your brain misfires. I've been told by a neurologist that the same type of electrical activity happens during a seizure as when people who have migraines have a migraine attack, only we don't have seizures from it.
At any rate, I'm sorry your son is going through all this. I hope the medication they put him on helps.

@Srbageldog He has epilepsy but it's not from his brain being larger on one side. They thought that was what he had but he does not. So, they don't know exactly what caused the seizures to start.
Thank you!

That's rough, i hope things get better soon, Please keep an open mind and don't hate me for this suggestion, If it turns out to be epilepsy and the medication does not help with the seizures please talk to the doctors about cannabis oil, i know of so many people who have their children on this for epilepsy and it has taken their seizures down to one a day sometimes non, and some of them would have 500 + seizures a day in the beginning, I will pray for you and your family xx

I will keep Julian in my prayers again.
Don't despair if the diagnosis is epilepsy once the EEG is completed.
My older brother was diagnosed with that when he was 15 years old.
It took them roughly 10 years to get him "controlled" and after that he could drive and do everything anyone else could do.
I hope that they re able to get the testing completed and get him diagnosed so that you can all get on with living life and Julian will be happy again-he probably misses being home.
Prayers to you and Johnny for continued strength.

I know many people with epilepsy, and all of them are old. He will be fine.

Poor baby..I wouldn't get too upset at this point though. It can be managed well with medications for the most part.
