Is it just a sleep condition that occurs to those who stress in life or is it a veil uncovering in front of our eyes because our brain activity is altered?
Could sleep paralysis actually be a weird cursed gift?
I ask because it's very common and with no treatment as to stop it. Some people have it once or a couple times in their entire life. However, for me, this is an everyday occurrence .
Your thoughts?

Sleep paralysis is being treated by some doctors as a type of narcolepsy these days. I experienced it a lot as a teenager. When I first brought it up to my parents, their response was to stop listening to "that dam devil music". They thought I was bringing demons in the house. For me it was lack of sleep and other factors (like watching scary videos before going to bed). But, now I have learned to control it so it rarely occurs.

@BabeSays when it's an everyday thing you sorta get use to feeling a lil paranoid at night.

Yes! But I've learned to deal with it. And also I found out that melatonin is a trigger and should not be taken if you have this problem

Huh?
I thought people were usually 'not moving around' in their sleep!

Correct, but there's the additional hallucination, voices, feeling like you can't breathe because of a heavy feeling on your chest....

The person isn't fully asleep. Sleep paralysis occurs when they are just falling asleep or just waking, so they're still somewhat aware.
