Writings, whether it is blessings, wishes, criticism or bad one , it is the true reflections of personality. And others may become your fans or opposite from your style of writing. In MyLot what is your style of writing or methods. In MyLot there are a lot of charming writers in which their writings are special one and different from others and it attracts others. Do you want to fill your space while writing? or extremely brief as the guide line not suggests? Or What is your method to make your discussion attractive and lovable. Do you selective in your subjects? And also one question Do you have the patience to read a big discussion that leads to more than a full page.?

It's not the length, it's about how interesting a discussion is. I can skip a few boring lines but read a very long discussion if it is interesting.

it's more about what they write about and how they present it. it doesn't matter if it's long or short, if the spelling and grammar is perfect. i try to get a sense of the person's sincerity. oh, and it's also in how they interact with their responders.

Thanks, You are right, Subject, Style, Sincerity all are important factors. But I think some people also mention about the size also. Follow up and interaction is also important.

To be honest with you, I don't read the whole post word by word. Probably try to see the point of discussion. The reason is that there are other people making post and I don't want to miss out responding to them.

@Letranknight2015 I completely not oppose for a long discussion. If the subject is attractive and the reader gets enjoy by reading it . They will go to the bottom of the page. But only a few people have the talent to keep this attractive.

I don't think that everybody reads the whole post of a discussion word by word. If it is big the chances of avoiding is maximum. Simple and easy to grasp discussions definitely deserve responds.

I just go and do what I want when it comes to writing Most of the time they are not short and kind of long so many people do not read them. I try to write with fluidity so it makes it easy for people to read. My english teachers always did say I had great voice in my writing haha! When it comes to reading, it all just really depends on what it is about.

Natural writing is the best one to be enjoyed. Its great that you get the fluidity in your writings. It surely make the discussion attractive. It is right that reading belongs to the subject and our mood. If we like the style and subject definitely we like and respond it.

I might not be the best but my writing is a bit selective but one thing I have noticed is that my posts are relatively short

If our writings are not best to ourselves, but it may feel best to others, so be positive . I am also write short ones. But if we try to add some thing without damaging the style and idea it will be charming.

It depends on my mood because there are times I love to read those fairy tales and historical discussions written by some mylotters here but there are also times that I only want some simple discussions where I can have good interactions

@shshiju It depends for me As long as I can find a way to participate in their discussion, I really go for it and interact. Anyway, That`s the point of having interaction by asking and sharing something. Right?

If we follow a long discussion , definitely we need more time. If it is hard to understand it needs more . But some discussions are smoother one with flow.

I mostly write about two or three paragraphs and I like to read about that amount. A post can be too long and people may only have a limited amount of time to read. Mostly I don't read really short posts unless they are written by someone who is trying to get established here and finds English hard. I try to come up with interesting posts. I always read the whole discussion.
