Nightshift

Working the nightshift is a whole different lifestyle. This is my downfall while others are sleeping I am awake. Reminds me of the story "The Night Before Christmas" "...not a creature was stirring. Not even a mouse." Except for me, I'm stirring.... Destitute... tumbleweeds across an abandoned road. People try to call during the day as they thrive and you're in a slumber. It is awful. I love it when they get aggitated as to why you didn't answer the call. As you explain to them you worked the night before their response is "Oh I didn't know you worked last night." Thus, you reply with sarcasm "Yes, Carol! It's been my set schedule for 2 years now!" So how do you feel and get through the nightshift? Or are you like our friend Carol and gets a little aggitated?

Its ok im awake since my boyfriend works nightshift I stick to his schedule so nights are my days to

There are a lot of reason behind it and for me, I really don`t mind if my friend replied late, as long as I know my friend is doing fine with their life

I previously worked on a schedule of a night shift. But I resigned in that job because I want to experience a normal life, a normal lifestyle with dayshift as my job.

I am overtime also nightshirt. Fellow was sick i am replacing. Inwork security guard.
