what would you do for your pet?

A week ago i had got ourselves a little kitty and we named her Sudden. She really is the cutest cat in the whole world and although we haven't spent much time with her, we are both completely in love. One night i was coming home from work when my husband calls me telling me he let the door open and Sudden had ran away. My heart was so broken and felt desperate to find this little kitty since it was getting dark and the temperature had dropped to 30 degrees that night. As soon as i got home, the hunt begun. We looked behind our home carrying her little bowl of food and jingled it around that back which let to a ditch. After a couple minutes of "hey sudden where are you kitty" we finally heard her little bell from her collar jingle. I had no idea where in this ditch she was but i just followed the sound. We even hopped into the ditch, water high to our knees, crawling around with flashlights looking for kitty. We spent maybe an hour out there when my husband started to lose hope but i had a feeling we would find her. Sure enough we spot her right at the end of the ditch sitting. I placed her bowl of food near her to reel her in and i reached out to grab her. That night Sudden was back into our home safe and sound. Our shoes and clothes were all wet and we didn't smell very nice but when you got to love your animals so much, you really would do anything for them. Hope you guy enjoyed this little story, please show some love and let me know what would you do for your kitty? Would you have just given up?

I feed the street cats in my relatives backyard in the morning and before sunset as well as my cats.

No I wouldn't have given up - I remember once hunting all night for our dog who went missing. We found her in the end. Btw, it would be easier on the eyes if you broke your post up into paragraphs

I wouldn't have given up either. I've had cats ever since I was about five years old, I'm a good deal older now, and I view my cats like my "children". I'm so glad you were able to find Sudden. I currently have my one cat named Ouija who is a black cat and very spoiled…LOL

Pet lovers have no limit how far they can go. We had spayed our dog. . We noticed she had stripped the bandage. We got the bandage back and she slept next to our bed. My hand was on her for every night for about a month until her wound was cured. In other words I had 30 sleepless nights.

Haha cats aren’t my favourite animals. I stayed at my cousins place a few years ago, and he has 2 cats. I fell asleep and they’d just walk all over my face like I was part of the couch. I woke up with scratches on my face. Wasn’t too impressed so I can understand your hesitation.

How beautiful! I’d do anything for my dogs. They’re unconditionally affectionate and it’s only fair I show the same love. They love belly rubs and my arms often cramp up playing with them (I have 3 so have to use feet sometime hehe). Sometimes they give sad eyes when I’m having lunch so I end up just splitting my meal between them. Love seeing them happy!!
