Do You Experience Arguments On-Line When Expressing An Opinion?

I haven't come across downright arguments about any opinion one has made here on MyLot….uh, yet. It's a whole other ballgame though over at Facebook, and I'm sure a lot of MyLotters have profiles over there. One of the key means of arguments starting up is of course anything "political" even when one is trying to have an "informative" discussion about something, however, not always. One time I posted this meme which I include here. sure enough I had gotten an argument over it to the point where the person who chimed in was rude, crude, and downright obnoxious, and not only to me, but started attacking my friends who made a reply. Needless to say, I unfriended that person. I also happen to be the creator of a group devoted to black cats. I have a recognition that members have cats also of other colors other than black, so I at one time addressed that issue stating that if members wanted to post photos of their other cats they were more than welcomed to do so. Sure enough, a few members chimed in saying, "Well I only joined this group to see only black cats, if you're going to allow the posting of other types of cats, I'm leaving this group." Uh..bye bye…but yikes. Anyway, do any of you find people will start up an argument and get their panties in a wad even over the most lame topics or issues?

First, I am so glad to see you here! I miss my Pyewacket! Secondly, I wish people had the wherewithal to take a deep breath, step away from their device, and come to the realization that they are too involved in their online world. Your meme is so harmless, and the cat thing is just downright odd. God bless the level headed people that still exist on Facebook.

I think that some people enjoy starting and being a part of arguments. I don't understand why.

Yes, there are differences of opinions here. I had to answer a discussion that I felt was not telling the truth and the person that I did not agree with me did not block me but someone else did.

Facebook is a Book of different colors. Sometimes the arguments there seem sort of childish, and remind me of back when I was in Grade School. I had to block a couple of discussions due to people responding back in them were Crazy. Politics is the worst

I had a terrible time on HubPages once. There was a discussion going on Bubblews about how some people got paid and others didn't. There were some really odd people there who decided that I was in league with Arvind, the site owner, because I said I had always been paid. They got really nasty with me even though the whole things was totally ridiculous. I'm an ordinary middle aged woman but I found myself retaliating and protesting my innocence even though I really didn't need to. A couple of them were quite vicious.

Yes! Because "some" people online especially in social media like facebook are so close-minded abt certain issue. And so, if i have some knowledge about this issue. I will write out my thought and bang! The arguments has just been started! Lmao.
