I don't read the newspaper every day; however, when somebody mentions an article that I should read, then I check it out. The article really is important to all of us, as you never know when it could happen where you live. I live in an area with very little rain. LA Times there is an article on page 3 yesterday about the drought in Capetown South Africa. Residents are limited to 6.6 gallons of water per day. They are forecasting a day in April when there will be no water. Not many people are talking about California drought, but we are still in a drought situation. Please be mindful of your water usage! Did you read the article? The paper is online.

That is worrying indeed. We chose this area because there is plenty of water and mostly an assured rainfall. But we still don't waste it.

There have been several days of drought last summer and they advised people to limit water usage. Although Belgium is knows to be rich with water. I never thought I’d hear that here

That is my understanding of the article. This would be difficult for my family, as we garden growing a lot of produce and the plants use a lot of water when its hot.

We also have a self limit restriction place on us on the usage of water. But ours is not a shortage or drought but rather a valve place on the governments lines. I do hope the drought do not last long. It can be so challenging. One of nature's calamity.
