Does the Pain in your life alter your Choices????

When it hurts, do you run from pain? When it hurts, do you treat others mean or ugly? When it hurts, do you give up and get depressed? When it hurts, do you hide from others so they do not see you hurting? When it hurts, do you pray to God to take the pain away? Does your religion teach you to do this? Does pain freeze you into inactivity? Pain is no more than an indication something is wrong. Will you ignore pain in an effort to solve the underlying cause? Will you ignore pain in order to show others Love and Kindness? Would you be willing to go through great pain and adversity in order that someone else learns, grows and understands? Would you be willing to go through pain and adversity in order to help others? As I see it. Pain is a big one. One can choose to let pain rule one's choices and actions or one can choose to see pain for what it really is. We all have the power to choose regardless of what happens or the actions of others. As I see it. Choice is a valuable gift. One should never allow anything to intimidate our choices and that includes pain. As I see it, one can only reach a Higher Level through choices. Sometimes the best choice is to hurt in order to make things better. I think it's OK to pray and cry to God when there is pain. On the other hand, I would not expect God to solve those problems especially when everyone learns and grows overcoming adversity. There are many lessons among us all. It has never been only about our pain. Once again, pain is only an indication something is wrong. Since we learn and grow through adversity, we were never expected never to hurt or feel pain. As I see it. It's what one chooses to do after one hurts that counts. How about you? Does pain alter your choices in life? Do you allow this to happen?

I think constant pain can change the people. It is hard (almost impossible) to stay in good mood and being optimistic when you live in pain for years everyday and you have no chance to live a painless life.

Yes, I know it's not always easy. On the other hand, it comes down to will and what you want to choose for yourself. How will you define yourself through the choices of your actions. I have been lucky enough to know some pretty remarkable people who even though they lived in pain, they brought joy to everyone around them. They taught people many great lessons. I try to think about that at the times when I hurt. One should not alter the actions which is best for everyone just to avoid pain.

@anikoonline Yes, still they selflessly act in the best interest of others. See how they define themselves. People at that level, I'm sure are also working behind the scenes to solve the causes of their own pain. Wisdom is acquired on any journey to resolve problems. On the other hand, like you said, a day off without pain would make the task easier.

@bird123 I also think that people that lives in pain can be very strong, happy and can show positive attitude. But I think that it is a behavior that they show to the world. They also suffer a lot. And suffering and playing that everything is alright can be very overwhelming.

Let someone cause me pain. I know how to hurt him back. I am a very good fighter. Let people learn their lessons. Si who interferes? But no man get away playing the fool with me. I will beat the hell out of the culprits.

@bird123 You have pity on yourself. I know what you are. You are the one who goes around trying to create false impressions. You prohibit people from defending themselves. You are a laughable character.

Hearing your words, I can only have Pity on you. There is so very much you have yet to Discover before your view will clear!! You might think your words impress, however the opposite is the real truth.
