I ordered an Air Fryer finally

My in-laws always buy me some kind of cooking gadget/appliance each year because they know how much I love cooking. They've gotten me a rice cooker, a bread maker, and, most recently, an Instant Pot. This past year my husband told them that I was interested in an air fryer when they asked what they should get me for Christmas. My father-in-law is amazing at researching stuff and really finding the best deals and such but even he was overwhelmed with all of the air fryer options out there. Finally, he gave up and my in-laws decided to just send me a nice Amazon gift card so I could pick out my own. As I did my research, I read that air fryers worked a lot like convection toaster ovens. . . which I already have. That made me delay on buying one because I didn't see the need to buy something that I already had. Then my husband started searching and reading and he swears that air fryers and toaster ovens work differently. This afternoon I finally bit the bullet and just ordered one. It was $79 on sale from $170. It has a 30 day money back guarantee so I will just try the heck out of it and, if I hate it, I will send it right back to Amazon. . . plus the $$$ was coming from the gift card that my in-laws sent. It isn't any money coming out of my pocket. Stay tuned for air fryer adventures and experiments!

You either have a lot of counter space or cupboards. I am curious about the air fryer but since I'm not making doughnuts or frying meat any more, I think I'm going to just stay curious.

@sallypup I used to make it by hand when I was making bread. Flour Water Salt Yeast is a great bread cookbook. The bread machine is convenient but there's nothing like hand-made bread.
