That's my sweet ... or not ... lil Boobear.
She had been rolling around cleaning herself and as shutterbugs do I patiently waited then began to snap like crazy.
My reward is getting a shot of her with a mohawk, do you see it?
Recently I was sittin here mylottin when I heard this weird sound. I was a weebit concerned for fear it could be a major appliance giving out on me ..... like I have the money for that, right?
But no, it wasn't, thankfully, it was Boobear blowing bubbles in the water bowl. It took me a while to figure out what she was doing then all I could do was laugh. Have you ever seen or heard a cat blowing bubbles in water?

What a sweetie-pie!
And to answer your question, no, I've never seen nor heard a cat blowing bubbles in water. Was she using a straw?

Good question @BarBaraPrz it sure wasn't me ..... hmmmm, I have seen Ally, my dog, stick her nose in water then blow out the air, maybe that's where she got it. Just doesn't seem like something most cats would do.

This is the first time I've heard of it. My cat hasn't done that at all.

@rebelann She could have adapted your pups behaviour. Which is kind of strange. I saw my dogs imitating my other dogs but never my cat! My cat would never drink nor eat dirty food lol! When his food drops on the floor, he'd never touch it. And when his water bowl has some dirt on it, he'll never touch it too.

Nope I never have seen such a thing, or from my dogs for that matter.

That is a surprise. I've had dogs make bubbles or just blow their noses in water but this cat is the first one I've had that plays in water like her puppy does, Ally loves to stick her nose all the way into the water, I think she gets a kick out of leaving a water trail.

She's the first one I've seen do it, I think she picked up the trait from my pup who does that, the funny thing is my pup washes her face like a cat does

I have experienced dogs blowing bubbles but never cats. Wow, this is mind-blowing. (And bubble-blowing.) It definitely blows.... in a good way. I miss my kitty and doggie so much. I'm trying to remember the last time I personally blew bubbles.....
