What to expect in your 20's?

20's might be an exciting and challenging year or a mix of both.
My idealistic self would say that after college "Life will be so much easier", I'll get the job that I want, earn LOTS of money, gain lots of friends, all the plans that I set for myself will happen like save money, travel, etc.
But hey! I'm on my 20's and my REALISTIC self would say;"I'll just slap you and it is not as easy as you think".
At first you can't get the job that you wanted, but not in all cases, some are just lucky to find the job that are meant for them. Like me, I'm a psychology student, and all I wanted is to pass the board exam and work in a hospital, but hey! I'm in an accounting firm and working as an HR Associate- Alumni Coordinator.
Earn lots of MONEY?! It is a big NO NO especially when you are renting a house, paying water, electricity and cellphone bills etc. I can still save a little but just a little.
Gain lots of friends? It is true, but learn how to choose your friends wisely. In this stage, you will experience betrayals or some are just using you because they need something. But the good thing is you will still meet good people who will choose to stay and will be there through thick and thin.
Lastly, not all plans that you planned for yourself will happen. Just prepare yourself to this, this might let you feel disappointed, frustrated, lonely and depressed but I'm sure it will not last for a very long time unless you let it.
I just want to share my experience last 2016-2017, when I go back to my plans, nothing happened to all of my plans. I kept on asking myself and God, Why? I know we shouldn't ask him because we all know that he has a better plans for us. But during the process, and reflect on what are the things that had happened to me for the past years, I can say that it is better that I expected to be. I graduated in a prestigious school, I went abroad, got a job immediately ( it might not be the job that I expected but I'm still thankful ), I knew who my real friends are, I have a family who are always there and keep on inspiring me to be better and I knew how it feels to lose and learned that every failure comes with a success just have FAITH and keep on trying.
To the person who is reading this and experiencing the same things, I just want you to know that "IT'S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY", cry when you wanted to cry, curse when you wanted to curse but don't be TOO hard on yourself and don't let those failures define you for a very long time. We have time to get up, look for new good opportunities, try new things that are out of our comfort zone, be the best version of yourself and always BE THANKFUL! God has his PLANS for you. And always remember that HIS plans are better than yours. It might not be the same picture but it is GREATER.
How about you? What are your experiences? :)
