I want to start working but I'd seen on the news that babysitters mistreat babies and sometimes they even killed them. Now most of the daycares in where I live have some type of history of sexual abuse. I'm a single mother of two beautiful babies but I'm scared to leave them with a babysitter. I know I need to start working but don't know which is better a regular babysitter or a daycare.
Do you trust babysitters?

You should find someone that you really know .. To trust her to know her better , maybe like a familly friend or a familly member and then I think that It wouldn't be a problem .

It can be difficult with babysitters. When I used to babysit, parents asked if they could meet me first, and I never had an issue with it. I understood it then, and I definitely understand it now.
Either way, you should ask someone that you know and trust.

The daycare may have the history, but you should see about the sitters themselves. If the daycare has been opened in 20 years and it happened 15 years ago, why should the current employees suffer the stigma if they have been there only after the others were fired. Just my opinion.
A babysitter should be someone you trust and are close to, a family member, a friend.
