Finding Inspiration To Write

You want to write but you don't know what. Start by thinking of what interests you. Are you more into fiction or is nonfiction your thing? They say write what you know. I would also add, learn what you don't know. People who write articles often don't know much about the subject they're writing on. They start by finding out as much about their subject as possible. Fiction can be anything that you imagine. Horror, romance, mystery, etc. If you're stuck for an idea do things that might spark your imagination. Watch a movie, read a book. Look for inspiration. The idea is not to copy the story, but pull something from it that you could write on. Find a picture that you can write a story around. The writing is out there, you just have to find it.

I am more of a fictional writer. I don't know how good stories can be done yet but I can learn. I have always been into writing stories but it does seem to get hard. Sometimes I put things that may not make sense that I go back to reread it and realized then it doesn't make sense so I delete it and put in something else lol.. When it comes to articles, I know I'd really have a tough time with that one since I wouldn't know what to write about. I prefer stories and I actually am working on that.

Writing and rewriting is all part of being a writer. I prefer stories myself but I can put out an article if needed.

I often get inspiration from a picture or something I am reading. Inspiration is out there.

I can get inspiration from a lot of different places. It could be from a picture or something I’m reading or anything really.

And sometimes, as I've discovered, the writing finds you. While researching for my current nonfiction book I've become fascinated in a subject I'd never have previously considered.
