It was a terrible day today as while going on the way to office in the first shift i got a call that my subordinate had an accident and had got injuries on his head and face.
He was admitted to the hospital for the treatment . When I reached office I asked one of my subordinate to go the hospital to see him if he requires anything from us.
I called HR person and he told me that he will reach office in few minutes. But that sad as I was told that this fellow had severe injury on face. His upper lip was cut and was swollen. His ear and more was bleeding and doctor was trying to stop it and took time to do it.
He had a xray and ct scan of which reports were pending but when I phoned in the evening I was total he has a minor fracture but the good thing it he did not have a severe injury in head.
I am really thankful to God that there is no major injury. Hope so they will keep him in the hospital today and will be discharged from there tomorrow.
It's really risky to go out these days on roads as anything worse can happen. We should take care and should be careful. For me safety of our self is the first thing. What about you guys ? How was the day?

Well people drive madly all over India. Many drive on the wrong side. Many talk on mobile while driving.
Where is the road sense? Road safety ?
Why no regard for own and human life?
Is a few minutes of delay more important than human life and safety?
Well we all have to introspect and answer.
Have a great day ahead!

A sad news.
While we are improving on terrorism index, we are going down on road safety parameters. The accidents are rising and many innocents are falling prey. Prayers for him.
Agree with you that anything worse can happen on roads. There are many reasons but the most common are:
1 -- Loss of life is acceptable but delay isn't
2 -- Ignorance of traffic rules
3 -- Owning a Driving License and knowing how to drive are 2 completely different things
While it is relief that there is no major injury; it is also important that he be given rest as he got fracture in head. Even after he is being discharged from the hospital, at least for a month; be a human first and a boss later.
