Another deceptively beautiful morning here, and Phil saw his shadow. That means six more weeks of groundhog vittles from Granny Clampett's secret recipe! We'll teach that little varmint to see his shadow!! While you're snacking on groundhog fritters, here's another line from The Blues Brothers to enjoy.
#4: How Much for the Little Girl? The Women? How Much for the Women?
This is one of the best scenes in the movie, and one of the best scenes of the 80s. After Jake and Elwood decide to put the band back together they begin rounding up the musicians. They find the majority of the band playing in a Holiday Inn lounge as "Murph and the Magic Tones." They're easily convinced, but there's going to be a problem getting "Mr. Fabulous" (the late Alan Rubin, playing himself) because he got a good gig as a maƮtre d' at an exclusive restaurant.
No problem for Jake and Elwood.
They crash the restaurant where Mr. Fabulous works. Needless to say, he refuses to join the band, so Jake and Elwood cause a scene, doing outrageous stunts that would be out of line in a McDonald's (such as Jake throwing food into Elwood's mouth and Elwood slurping his drink very loudly). The climax of this is when Jake, with a foreign accent, slaps a patron on the back, points to the man's daughter, and says, "How much for the little girl?"
They win. Mr. Fabulous agrees to rejoin the band.
We win, too, because that's a freaking funny scene.

I think, for pure comedy, it is THE best scene in the movie.
