I feel so clumsy!

Early this morning, I stepped out onto our back deck and slipped onto my right knee!. I scraped it and I bet later there will be a bruise. It hurts a little bit still right now.
The deck was so slippery like an ice skating rink. Why? It is because it rained very lightly over night. The temperatures then sank to around freezing. The little bits of water that were left , froze over a little bit even though there were some clear water spots.
The deck really didn't look that slick from a distance.
I learned a lesson. Never go out on our back deck when there is any hint of frost!

This is something I really dislike about this time of year. When I was driving I would be paranoid about black ice because it would rain and then freeze. Poor knee.

It does still hurt. I think it is mainly bruised.

I had those terrible moments when ever I leave the house, even the kitchen it tends to be slippery. But I never really went down as it should.

Hope your knee feels better later. Glad that was all that happened. I know I have slipped stepping out my front door and once twisted my knee. Maybe a good idea would be to sprinkle salt or sand on your deck.

Hope you'll be ok! Did you use some ice on your knee?

Because there was a real scrape on my knee, I put on antibiotic cream and a band aid at first.

Slipping and falling on your knee sounds painful. Hope it doesn't give you trouble as the days go by.
My son in law said the roads were treacherous this morning with icy conditions

I have slipped on the only patch of ice you could have found in miles around and yet have walked up a whole street filled with black ice and have nothing happen to me.
Just the way it goes.
Hope your poor knee recovers quickly.
See I am clumsy as well sometimes.
