Baby: In Belgium they have found on new born baby at the train station.

If the mother left the baby then that would mean she doesn't want it. Whether she cares about the baby or not - she is obviously not capable of caring for him . Someone more responsible should definately adopt the baby and give him a stable, loving home :)

That's awefull! There are many other ways to give your child a new safe and loving home through social services, foster care of adoption and there are many ways to find help and support even if you don't have friends and family to help you out. Leaving your baby on the train station could mean two things: you want your baby to die out there to solve the problem of you having it or you hope it's getting picked up and taken away by someone. I don't think one can do the last without letting the autorities know but you might try and tell them you want to adopt the child if you are open to it as you found it and might feel this happened for a reason. Like many people said you are not capable or raising a child if you put it in such severe danger. I hope this child is getting the best of care at the time being and mom should get some (psychological) care too.

With so many couples longing for a baby and not being able to have one of their own, it befuddles me as to why anyone would abandon one. They need only bring the baby to the authorities and give up parental and legal rights.

I can not even begin to appreciate the mental turmoil that this woman has gone through to get to the state that she was able to give up her own child there by the grace of goddess go the rest of us blessed be

i really hate hearing stories such as this.. i just can't imagine parents abandoning their own child who came from their own flesh and blood.. babies are gifts or blessings from God.. they are precious and innocent beings.. parents should be thankful that they have their baby with them because not everyone is privilege to have one..
