Fewer notifications on MyLot

I received fewer notifications on MyLot than I expected and I found this is quite unusual. I had completely forgotten that I removed the option of getting notifications when someone likes my discussions and comments. This has helped me get done with my notifications faster

I also removed the notification for likes, it is not useful.

Tuning the Notifications settings is a necessity, if you want a manageable workload here.

The notifications are there. That i cannot remove but the 'likes' one are no longer there

Yeah you see hundreds of notifications only to see they are just likes.

I removed the notification for likes a long time ago. My last discussion didn't seem to generate much interest. This morning my notifications are way down.

i have also changed the settings in my notifications. i removed the LIKES but there are still some that appear on my notifs. when i am not here for 2 days, like last Monday and Tuesday, i usually get a hundred notifs.

@aureliah the settings are already good for me. of course the notifications appear and this depends on what settings you wish to maintain or delete. have you tried your own notifications settings?

Are you referring to email notifications? No need for those I think because when we log in to mylot we see them anyway. The email notifications just clutter up the inbox.
