Cat Logic 101: Part Five

I'm sure my cat isn't the only one that does this, but my cat feels as if it's his bound and duty to accompany me when I go to the bathroom. Why do cats do this? Are they afraid we'll get lost on the way? And not only that, but your cat probably has to watch you do your thing while in the bathroom. I can't remember the last time I was "allowed" to be alone in the bathroom. Same thing when I take a bath. My cat stares at me while I'm in the tub and I often think he's wondering why his "mom" is sitting in a tubful of water.

Truth? Beau Teak Mr. Siamese insists he HAS to sit on people's laps when they are sitting on the throne. He loves that time of day.

So far I've never had a cat sit on my lap when I'm on the royal throne...LOL

@pyewacket Beau also loves to chew our wet hair when we're out of the shower. He is a very touchy feely guy- he tries to grab hold and climb like a monkey when you pick him up. Maybe its cause of the Siamese in him.

It is quite difficult for me to answer this question as I never had a cat as my pet so far. I heard many stories like this and I think that is their insecurity of loosing their share of love from their beloved ones. They always want to show their presence and want a positive response in return as most of the pets they do. Thanks!

I have a few that will follow me in, but most of them want me to turn on the faucet so they can drink from it. I have a couple who want to cuddle while I'm stuck. So far, Opal and Onyx mostly want to play, but they're only 7 months old, well, Onyx turned 7 months back on the 26th and Opal will turn 7 months on the 9th.

My daughter's cats follow her everywhere. Even in when she is showering or bathing. So funny.

My late dog Sherlock used to sit in front of me when I had to use the toilet. Sometimes he'd curl up like he was going to take a nap.
