1. People just keep repeating the same things over and over again.
2. People write nonsensical discussions that are impossible to respond to.
3. People copy other members discussions.
4. People lie to generate more responses to their discussions.
I truly believed that the introduction of the mylot guidelines would inspire those offenders to clean up their act. Guess I was wrong.

I was hoping for the same. I see a lot of discussions that are in the new discussions that I or my friends (including you) have started. It's like there are people that troll other discussions and yank them word for word sometimes. I hate when I get a response that makes no sense. I got one once that said, "Too tired, no more today." Okay, so how does that apply to my discussion and why did you bother? I dole out a "-" for those.

I added one more: 5. Discussions demanding from responders to turn on their brain are getting only a few answers.
Unfortunately you are right.

The problem with guidelines is, unless they are enforced as rules, nobody is going to follow them. Start taking away earnings or refusing to pay for 1 word responses, and you'll see much less.

I totally agre.. I just try and ignore the stupid discussion or the ones that are repeated again and again. Furthermore, I don't think my discussions are stupid, but I don't get many replies anyway. And seeing that discussion where one says "I reached 1000 posts! congratulate to me!!" receive way more replies gets me a bit depressed. XD

You are absolutely right, and so is kiiizu. I don't usually start many discussions, but I found that when I start one that requires a bit of though, I get no answers, yet the ones that only ask for a yes or no have pages of answers. It also upsets me when people respond with something that is obviously just aimed at increasing their post count, not at participating in a real discussion.
