Ibotta: a money saving app review

So I am always looking for ways to save money. Ibotta is one of my favorite couponing apps. I earn $5 for referrals when they redeem a rebate. That person earns $10 when they redeem their first rebate. I've gotten over $200 back via PayPal or in amazon gift cards since I started using the app. I add the rebates, go shopping at my local supermarket, Walmart, target, etc and get cash back. Currently they're doing a partnership with Uber and when I link to Uber via Ibotta and catch an Uber to work, I get $1 back on Ibotta. I also get $2 back from shop your way rewards so my Uber rides end up very cheap. I'm on a tight budget so I make sure to maximize every dollar I spend. Ibotta is a USA based app though. Do you have a money saving app that you use?

I just recently re-downloaded Ibotta. I've only earned $2.00 so far. I don't often use Ibotta.

@acrogodess I am trying coupons.com to get cash back but I don't know if it'll work for me. It says PayPal not valid so I'll see

@infatuatedbby coupons.com does cash back? Since when, I haven't had a printer in ages and even when I did, coupons.com always gave me a hard time getting a coupon printed

Doesn't hurt to log in and check. Who knows maybe you're almost at $20 and can redeem

My mother has Ibotta on her phone. But we can't use it in the store because her wifi sucks. I want her to get Receipt Hog instead.

You don't have to use it in the store. You can check out the rebates at home if you have wifi at home and add them. And then upload your receipts and scan your items later.

It's like a coupon except in an app. But the money you save with the app, you can redeem for gift cards or PayPal.
