I cried for an hour straight last night ....

Not over the Super Bowl - I really didn't care which team won. I cried throughout the entire hour of This Is Us, which followed the Super Bowl on the same channel. What a tearjerker. I think I've cried during every episode of This Is Us so far.
For anyone who isn't watching this show, you should really check it out. I would suggest starting from the beginning, maybe on Netflix, to get properly immersed in the show and understand what is going on. I remember the first few episodes being a bit confusing until I figured out what was going on. The show jumps back and forth between past and present with the same characters.
The acting is top-notch. The characters are both pitiful and admirable while also lovable. The story lines are credible, relatable and diverse. I really can't say enough about this show. For me, it's right up there as one of the best TV series I have ever seen in my TV-watching lifetime, which is considerable!
If you decide to watch the show, keep a box of tissues nearby.
Happy Monday everybody. Have a great week. Mildred the Cat sends her regards and says she might post something later.

I'm not a football fan but my daughter is a die-hard Patriots fan. I felt bad for her.

If you can get the channel in your area, you should give it a try. It's on Tuesday nights, 9:00 pm.

I have never watched the series but I find that my tastes are so different from most people's that it is hard to judge if it is something I would enjoy.

You have to really like family drama type stuff, like a high class soap, but in a league all its own, confronting "real life" issues, not the sleazy drama of the soaps, which I admit I also enjoy!
