Whole30 Month 6 Picture

Personally, I don't see a lot of difference between last month's picture and this one. Maybe you can.
The good news is I'm feeling better every month. I've been using a regular shopping cart lately, instead of the mobile one. I'm standing longer, and doing more than I have in a very long time. I'm also not as winded as I used to be when I started this diet and couldn't stand for more than a few minutes without being out of breath.
As far as my clothes - I'm seeing some changes there as well. I'm guessing in a couple months my size 1X will be exchanged for a Large. I'm down to a size 16 swimsuit now, so that's a plus.
I am liking what I'm seeing, and that's a good thing.
In other news. I went looking for two of my manuscripts and can't find them. I had to pull one from an outdated file disk, which means I will need to go through and manually make all the changes to Scarred that are in the third edition. I've also lost Freedom's Cry. The only copy I have of that one is the proof copy from the publishing company. Which means I'm going to need to manually transfer each page to a new file.
Both of those are going to take a lot of time to do. But I must get it taken care of. I've looked through every available file location I have, and they're simply not among my manuscripts any longer.
At least I have them published. That's a good thing.
Picture is mine. Thanks for reading.

As I mentioned in our PMs yesterday, most everyone reaches a plateau. I agree with @NJChica. Cut back on all those carbs and white potatoes. Roasted broccoli is awesome and so is mashed cauliflower.
You are feeling great and have made awesome progress. Keep up the wonderful work!

Sometimes you just stall. You need to look at what you are doing. . . which you have. Cut down on carbs. More green vegetables and spaghetti squash and fewer potatoes! Also watch the avocados. They are delicious but full of fat. My trainer recommends only half of one per day for women.
Have you tried roasted broccoli? I wasn't a fan of it until I roasted it! I tossed it with olive oil, salt, and pepper and put it into the oven on a sheet pan at 425 until it just started to get a bit charred. Then I finish it off with fresh lemon zest. It is sooo good! It makes you WANT to eat it! (some other recipes call for adding parmesan cheese as well. I don't find it necessary)
I also like roasted cauliflower. I made a cauliflower "potato" salad last week too. There are many ways to get more veg into the diet.

@just4him I think you can do it, you obviously have what it takes...but bear in mind you will have to cope with big frustrations when the scale seems stuck. You may have to tinker with your methods and add or increase exercise, water food, etc. Plateaus are inevitable with any weight loss journey..God Speed!

@snowy22315 I'm on that plateau, and yes, I'm making adjustments to potatoes. I'm still going to eat them, just not as much as I have been. Today I had sweet potatoes for breakfast with my steak and eggs. I also have a bowl of fruit thawing. I mashed them with almond milk and cinnamon so they're edible, as I really don't like sweet potatoes. The ones I have today are Japanese sweet potatoes. They're okay made the way I made them.

Smaller face. As long as you are feeling better and your going down a size or two, it means that you are indeed losing weight.
Do try taking measurements of your arms, thighs, and stomach to see if you shaved off a couple of inches in those areas as well.

You are even happier than you were five months ago! You know how much better you are feeling, plus the smaller clothes tells the true picture:) You are on your way towards a goal weight, every single day!

@just4him See now that's more than enough proof, the weight did come off this month! At times when a person is reducing, water fills in the space where the fat has been lost. Mom's doctor told her this, when she said the diet wasn't working. The Dr's scale didn't register her weight loss, until two weeks later! He called it reaching a plateau.

I am so sorry about your missing files. That must be daunting. You can overcome, though. Look how far you have progressed with Whole30. You are doing great.

I'm sure you are seeing a lot of change in how you feel. Slowly losing is so much better for you than losing it fast.
