Nachos for dinner!

@spiderdust Dammit, now I want burgers again.

I have a package of burger patties in the freezer, but no toppings to go with them right now. I should pick up some lettuce and tomato today when I go to Safeway before their ground beef sale ends.

@spiderdust Oh no :( I am sorry to hear. Maybe a little bit of relaxing should do the trick.

I hope I do too. It has been one of those "ice pick" headaches, where it feels like something sharp is stabbing me in the side of my head for a few seconds, then goes away for a few minutes, and then happens again. It went away for a few hours, but is starting up again.

Sometimes the simplest things can make a good meal.

I don't even have nacho ingredients in the house right now! Well, I have some of them... but no tortilla chips. I suppose I could make pretzel nachos.

@thislittlepennyearns It's not the best timing for a pantry challenge (house full of picky kids for a week!), but it's happening anyway. I'm trying to figure out what to feed them tomorrow. I have a whole frozen chicken, but I don't think it will thaw in time to roast tomorrow. I wonder how much of yesterday's pork roast is left...

@spiderdust Well that sounds like a pantry challenge if ive ever heard one. We just finished eating. Made roasted broccoli with olive oil, parmesean and minced garlic with melted gouda on top, and bagels and lox.

My little kids aren't jalapeno fans. There were some in the salsa.
