-Meant to post this earlier, but you know, distractions-
On Super Bowl sunday my gf asked what time the game started, I told her I dont know.
She was shocked, but in all honesty, I lost the urge to watch football after all the
kneeling down controversy and the fact that the Raiders announced they are moving from Oakland to Las Vegas, Nevada.
So she decides that im going to watch the game with her, she only really wanted to watch the commercials. Well, the local cable company provider decided to, without warning or notice, to remove three channels from the service. The channels were a spanish affiliate of NBC, CBS and NBC. Yup, the channel that the game was to be broadcast on, NBC !
I didnt care, meanwhile she figured out that the game was viewable on the NBC app. In no time she went to the app on her apple tv device and streamed the game. Throughout the game, I could hear her getting into the action- screaming, laughing and ridiculing the players.
She liked the game, me, i didnt pay attention, I wasnt interested at all.
What I did find a bit ironic though was that, after all the controversy earlier in the year, the two teams playing in the Super Bowl were both with names to where you can say they both symbolized America, the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.

***Its an actual NFL Licensed action figure, can you see whats wrong with it?***

I see why people lost interest after that controversy. There's other ways to protest and trump insults everyone, why is that a shock?

@taciaelisepeace - when i played sports as a kid, i was taught to respect the game, players and fans. the kneelers did none of that.

@Plethos Very true. I can't stand the players that just do it for the paycheck, they don't even care about football. It really ruins the experience.

i say h im next to a couple other that were colored right, so i just had to buy this "production mistake" . i once took it in to a card shop , owner didnt believe me, customer there offered me $30 for it. mistakes can be very collectible, so im keeping this for a little while.

I'm lucky that I live alone too just as JJ@JolietJake does so I wasn't forced to watch it either. I really don't have any interest in Football to begin with. What was really disgusting...I caught the aftermath of how the "winning" team fans acted by setting fires, smashing store windows and even overturned cars.

When I first knew him, Husband used to stay up into the early hours to watch this. I don't think he's bothered for ten years or so now. I woke up to photos of happy American friends just wittering on about the adverts on my Facebook feed.
