Is future better, or can be better?

How do you comment on this from your experience? A friend of mine, doctor had told me once: ''Future is never better''..Do you think this is realism, or just pure pessimism?-I'd like to have answer and comment to cross also THANK YOU IN ADV

I suppose that when you are a kid, life is great and tense-free. Future is in our hands, so, as practice shows, it is never better for our perception. People remember only 30% of the past events, they remember their feelings more than reality, so they think that past times were better.

The future can be better but in this world there is no guarantee. We have to put our trust in God who can guarantee a beautiful future.

To me it's just pessimism, because the future is what you make it. Today you live putting down foundations for the future. That's why we go to college towards graduate school not only for knowledge, but for a really good paying job. So the future is more of a better thing, to me. Enjoy today as well as tomorrow, for today will never return.
