6 Years Later

Around 6 years ago I was on youtube embarrassing the heck out of myself doing covers of songs.
I wasn't the best singer, but I was just doing it for fun!
I stopped after a while because well I got busy with life and that was that.
This morning I got a notification on YouTube that someone commented on a video. And I'm just like ??? Who is bored and traveling down the rabbit hole.
The comment was on a cover video and it said, "Wft, my ears are bleeding." And I was just laughing so hard.
I got a hate comment on a video I made in freaking 2012!
I deleted the comment because I didn't want the person to feel like a pathetic fool commenting on a video that is 6 years old.
Who is that bored and filled with hate that they go to this video and have to comment on it. I hope it was like some 13 year old just wanting to make someone else feel bad and so they got the comment out and felt better.
Goodness sakes the internet is freaking weird

Wow, someone had the nerve. They should try to make a cover themselves before speaking! There is a lot of hate/drama with putting ourselves out there but don't worry about that ok :) You got the courage to make a video and post it on YouTube props to you :)

Any of the videos I post are just somewhere to store my videos for memories sake as well as putting monetization on them since they are on there. I never allowed comments or anything because people are mean and the videos are either of my kids or dumb product review videos I have to do.

I don't mind, if I don't like a comment it is easy to just delete it haha They were old videos so I never thought to go back and disable comments.

I'm sure the 6 years ago thing didn't matter.. i watch videos from years ago, as most songs are old. Though i dont ever leave comments on any. And their comment was unnecessary.

If it is 6 years ago on a channel that hasn't been active since then, it isnt common for people to just find that

If they didn't like something about it then they wouldn't have taken the time to comment :D
