What a difference a day makes

Day before yesterday, went to pool for exercise, got supper made. After supper started coughing and there it was. Maybe an allergy flare.
I must have had a fever all of yesterday. Constant chills. I had an old shawl over my lap as I sat in my chair and felt like crud. Sonny James kitty suddenly hopped up and demanded to sit under the shawl. He never does that. He lay there with me for about an hour. Sure felt good. My big teddy bear cat. Did he know I felt like crud and needed comfort?
I still had to get hubby to and from work so I did. I changed the menu and made simple food cause standing up was a hard one.
I'm better today though I still feel pretty awful. I slept a good extra hour after my morning commute. I need another nap but must get brown rice on to boil soon. For sure no water exercises this morning. Forget that.

Hope you feel much better tomorrow. I too had some kind of funny feeling today and was tired. What helped me through my day was several naps. Now it is night and I will rest and I do feel better now. My cat Sid also gets close to me when he feels that I don't feel just right.

Anne and I both had a two week plus virus that was no fun at all. I hope you feel better soon.

@peachpurple The only medication that I take is ibuprofen for pain. I've been taking more of that than usual but I worry how it works on the liver and kidneys.

How sweet your cat laid with you when he usually doesn’t I am sure he was comforting you while sick! My daughter was sick yesterday and today as well.

My bf has said that cats know when we're sick and tend to say near us when we are. But i hardly get sick so havent noticed it with my cat.
