I generally don’t eat rice. Have been living a low carb life for the past 7 or so years. But I do enjoy the occasional sushi.

Most definitely love rice with breakfast. Spam, eggs & rice, loco moco comes with rice...this is a dish with a hamburger patty, brown gravy & rice (this is a local favorite...I add canned sliced mushrooms to my gravy, yum), Portuguese sausages-eggs & rice, well you get the breakfast with rice is big in Hawaii! I even have Hillshire Lit'l Smokies-eggs & rice. My rice is a special blend that I make up at home. Long grain brown, short grain white rice, barley & lentil. I make enough for a few days. I soak it for at least half an hour to one hour then I cook it in my rice cooker. Rice is very big any time at the Hawaiian Island. Breakfast, lunch or dinner there is usually rice eaten with our main course.
