How to increase traffic for a blog?

Is anyone a blogger here?
What should I do attract traffic for my blog?
My friends only read my posts but no one else. I think people prefer watching YouTube over reading someone's blog.
But I love writing and I just can't give up. I feel free and different from rest of the world when I write. I know I'm talking nonsense here..but still.. help me out..

Yes right now, there are many people who want to make money by making blog. But they start confuse when try to increase traffic of their blog. Right, it is the most difficult in this job. Unfortunately, I can help you. But now, I am a content writer of blog. My nephew makes the blog. Every month he give me salary from the blog. Yes, he success with his blog..I proud of him.
Bu the way try to search how increase traffic blog by googling on internet... Maybe it will help you...Good luck!

for mylot, you can put the link to your blog on your profile page here. but as others have said, i think it's about being active on social media, but not to the point of spamming and annoying people.

You're right. I deleted Facebook and Instagram.. maybe I need to be active again.

Try talking about your blog on other popular blog and forum sighs. You'll find tons of people that enjoy writing and reading other people's blogs. Maybe try sharing samples of your blogs in here and other social sites.
